The big step.

It took me a while to understand the meaning of being grateful. I'm grateful for what I have and for all that made me who I am now. It wasn't easy.  Sometimes is hard to be thankful, we all have dreams and our expectations of how and how long will take to make our dreams come true can take us backward. I think that sometimes we just need a deep breath and take a look to appreciate our life and how wonderful is it.

He's 70 years old now and when I think about him I just can't be less grateful with life because I have him. I remember that when I was a little girl he used to read after his meal, he used to read about three hours a day (he still does!). That room was full of books about everything. It was his personal time after a long workday, he really enjoyed it. So I started to think that when people do the things that they love you can perceive it easily. I think that I never saw him mad, if you see him you can only see kindess, his words are soft and slow because he always knows what to say, nothing more, nothing less, always so humble. Humility is his essence, being respectful with the world in every step he does. I'm very inspired by him now more that I'm older. I really wished to listened to his wisdom years ago. I could've been nicer and more considerate. I think that sometimes when we have people like him in our life we take for granted that they always been like th

El grillo cantor.

My mother used to listen to a kids radio station while making breakfast. In that time pretty much of the children's músic was very classic, so every morning I was listening to Cri Cri. Everyone knows Cri Cri but not the human being who created him, his name was Francisco Gabilondo Soler and I remember his músic like a part of my childhood. Although he was born in the first years of the XX Century and I was born in the nineties I really related to him when he was talking about how it was to grow up in a small town. I can say that I had a wonderful childhood, I used to climb trees and all the things XX's kids did. I usually sing some Cri Cri songs with my son before he sleeps, he likes them a lot, it sounds like a Disney orchest and in fact Walt Disney wanted to buy the copyright of his songs and he just said "I can't do that because this is a legacy for the mexican children's". And how right he was.
